The ratio between women and men is where women have a greater advantage when it comes to appearances. There are more “beautiful” women in the world vs men. This is because a woman can enhance herself with makeup, whereas a man has to rely solely on his appearance for all you shallow people out there. Now don’t lie to me nor yourself ladies and gents, you know we’re all shallow in some ways. What an advantage for men though. Have you noticed? They can walk into a public place and find many beautiful or figurative women, however a female can only spot a very few if any at all and its not like we’re looking down at a man’s crotch area to see how big he is. Hahaha, this is all suppose to be humorous people. Please don’t take that seriously.

Not tall at all, I’ve answered this before but I’ll answer it again. I’m standing at a very petite 5ft.

No, I always do my nails myself. My mother and father own a nail salon (typical vietnamese stereotypes I know) but they’re totally not the stereotypical fob parents. Anyways, I guess I just have a nick and fettish for nice looking nails!

129. Brenda, how did you get your hair to grow so long? i’ve been having a problem with that lately -__-

Simple; don’t cut it. Hahaha, really, I don’t get enough haircuts as I should, though I’ll trim my own hair here and there. I should get one for 2009, a trim though, lol. I know that scratching your scalp in the shower and before you go to bed every night helps because it loosens the roots of your hair, therefore allowing it to grow faster.

130. Brenda, what did you get on your SAT?

I’ll just say it’s not a score I wanted. I wish I could’ve done better, but I’m just a terrible test taker!

131. Brenda, are you above the influence? ever smoke weed? cigarettes? or hookah’ed before?

I’ve smoked weed and hookah’d once each before; I will never smoke a cigarette. Things relating with puffing things out of my mouth isn’t my thing, but I can only say that because I HAVE tried it once before and I DON’T like it.

132. Brenda, how often do you go shopping? and when you do, how much do you spend on buying things for yourself?

So lately I’ve been very tight on money because my parents are making close to nothing for our family of 6 and soon to be family of 7, so basically, never. However, also it’s Chris’s birthday and Christmas in Decemeber making things even more towards a budget. I use to shop every Sunday, but now it’s maybe once a month, on myself, that is, and it’s $20-$30. Again, recession=tough times.

Yes, yes, and yes. Do I do it often anymore? No, no, and no.

Once I started cutting my bangs at the start of highschool, I just got use to it. Nothing special—just bold.

Wake up call on the phone, shower, hair and makeup, pick out my outfit, then breakfast real quick.

We met in a funny way and almost no one knows how we met, EXACTLY..I would say about 3 people know. :) And I like it that way, makes it more intimate. I’ll just say..we were complete strangers—never met but he asked me out to the movies and dinner..strangely enough, I accepted! A real blind date for ya!

140. Brenda, How many boyfriends have you had? Or how many guys have you dated?

I’ve had one boyfriend my whole life and that is my ex, whom is still my friend, Shannon Abenojar. Talking is another story but “dating”, with months to show that we were actually getting somewhere semi-serious..I’d say probably 6 guys. I like to date a guy for a while before getting into a title with him..if you haven’t noticed.

141. Brenda, How many pairs of shoes do you have? Specifically? Like how many boots, sandals, etc.

Okay, just for you, formspringer, I’m gonna go count them right now. Shoes: 5, Sandals: 20, Boots: 8, Flats: 14, Heels(small+big): 10, and 1 pair of dance shoes when I use to do plays/musicals.

142. Brenda, how often do you go out? Are your parents strict?

My parents are very strict unless I’m with family..but even so they’re always on my case calling me for reassurance of where I am at or who I’m with and when I’m coming home. Sometimes I don’t go out for weeks and sometimes I’m out every day. It differs all the time and I never know there mood.

143. Brenda, How many clubs/organizations are you in at school? And what are they?

6; The ones I’m mostly involved and share a passion for is Cancer Club, Multicultural Club, Key/Humanitarian Club, CSF Club, and ….Math Club -__- Lol, cus I need help in Calculus.

My favorite places are Forever 21, H&M, Charlotte Russe, Target, Aldo, and all those lil asian stores or random clothing/shoe stores. Yes, I shop at various thrift/Goodwill stores.

145. Brenda, what did you get for christmas? What did you want to get?

I got more than I wanted for Christmas. To be honest, I didn’t even want much for Christmas..I guess because I’m getting older now and I feel bad for people spending their money on me due to this plagued recession. However I’ll name everything I got: v-necks, a long forever21 shirt, leggings/tights, brown leatehr boots, manicure kit, chocolate covered gummy bears, victoria’s secret/charlotte russe bras and panties, money, giftcards to-target, starbucks, in-n-out.

146. Brenda, What kind of music do yoiu listen to? What’s your favorite kind of genre? Favorite artists/bands? And What type of music do you Not like?

I listen to all types of music, really. My favorites would be r&b and acoustic. I hate scream-o and most of those mexican artist songs they play at parties..usually they’re popular at the time on the radio.

147. Brenda, your boyfriends older than you, right? i’m not saying it’s a bad thing, i’m just wondering if you believe “age ain’t nothing but a number”, like me. cause i tend to always crush on the older guys, 3 years tops.

Chris is older than me, yes; by 2 years and 3 months and I agree that age doesn’t play a factor when the two people are mature enough for each other. I’ve dated guys older than Chris and guys younger than me. So I guess you’re asking the right person for an opinion on this particular question. I’ve always been one of those girls that said I’d only date a year younger and a year older but things definately changed as I got older. Age becomes a factor though, when age groups intertwine between the two because just because you and your significant other are right for each other, despite the age, mixing with your friends/his/her friends doesn’t work..which is why I know my min and max age preferences. I know a lot of people have different opinions on this matter but this was mine.

148. Brenda, what’s your diet ? your so cute and small ! how do you maintain your figure ?

The only diet I do is the seafood diet..you know, I see food I eat the food. Though sometimes when I feel like I want a sexy bod like those Victoria’s Secret models..I’ll do a few sit-ups, and I mean a few..and that plan will only last me a few days. Hahaa.

149. Brenda, I’ve read that your parents have high expectations, do you think that has caused you to have some-what of a low esteem in which you have to prove that you are mature, intelligent, etc? Also, do you think that your relationship with your parents has affected your view on relationships with guys?(I’m not trying to be rude. Yes..my parents have very high expectations from me. They escaped from the Vietnam War to the U.S. so you can only imagine why they want me and my siblings to succeed above the norm. You are quite an observant formspringer because you’re right, I do feel like I have to go the extra mile to prove my maturity and intelligence to my parents which does strip me of my self-esteem when they talk down on me. I guess every daughter/son deals with these types of situations but for me personally, I’ve had to be a second-mom to my little sisters since I was nine which has pushed me to grow up or want to grow up, faster. My standpoint about men and relationships are a mix of sappy-cliche love-story films, my parents, and the relationships of my family around me. I’m just protectin’ my heart so it doesn’t come crashing down soo badly that I won’t be able to mend myself back together. Sorry for the unusually long response but this question interested me! Yes, sophomore year will forever haunt me with the D I received both semester in trig. I tried and tried so hard and did not succeed with at least a C. So i retook it junior year, honors this time, and got a B. Succes was eventually grasped. :)

Sorry, I’ll clarify it. He/she can only be forgiven once, if they cheat twice, then that person IS the definition of “once a cheater always a cheater”. If they cheated once, and has never gone back on their mistake, then they have learned their lesson and does not fall in that “once a cheater always a cheater” saying.

At first, my dad continuously made excuses for me not to drive, such as “raining season” or that I’d be out of the house too much. Then he kept pushing it back, just because..now I’m almost 18 so my parents want me to wait until then..but now I have no working car to drive. No money in the family to buy me one either :(

Sometimes, but if anything we share shoes more often than any other articles of clothing. Plus, our styles are slightly different and she’s taller than me hehe.

I believe I am 97 lbs..though I haven’t been on a scale in a while. My weight flexuates but sadly I can never get past the 100 mark no matter how hard I try. :(

Well tomorrow, a group of girls from school and myself are doing a potluck/secret santa gift exchange @ 3pm. Thursday, Christmas Eve, depending if my family will make a big deal or not, I’m going to try to make it to my friend’s family birthday party. Friday, Christmas is spent at my aunt’s house in Rancho/Ontario area with my entire family. Saturday, is another friend’s birthday whom which hopefully I can make it to his family birthday party as well! New years will be spent with the family also, in Vegas till the 3rd.

You know why? Because while I sleep, I’m able to slip away from my reality and it’s problems, without the contraceptives of alcohol or drugs like the rest of society abuses. Maybe I’m abusing sleep but at least I’m not constantly abusing drugs and alcohol.
